Visible fields vary by agency and record. Use the portal’s exact words rather than substituting a broader claim. If the result says “released” or “out of custody,” report that a participating source sent that status. Do not upgrade it to proof that the case was dismissed, the sentence expired, or no other authority took custody.

FPC Alderson is the local federal branch that most often causes confusion. A woman released from that minimum-security federal camp belongs in the BOP Inmate Locator, which may provide a “Released On” date or state that the person is not in BOP custody. Federal supervision is separate. West Virginia VINE does not replace BOP or the federal court record.
Confirm Monroe VINE Results
VINE can lag because it depends on data from participating sources. It may not cover every event or preserve a record indefinitely. It does not calculate a projected release date, decide parole, prove dismissal, show every detainer, or establish that all correctional authority ended. A released result means the participating source reported a release-type event on the terms shown.
